Griffeye Intelligence Database Seminar (UK)
November 27th
Griffeye and Teesside University are hosting a one-day seminar for Technical Managers, Database Administrators and other advanced users who act in an administrative role to demonstrate the planning, installation and administration of the GID.
About the seminar
The Griffeye Intelligence Database (GID) presents a fundamental restructuring of the Griffeye products to deal with the increasing numbers and volumes of files and facilitate the sharing of information between teams, regions or even countries.
GID offers DFUs significant options to increase efficiencies and promote collaborative work as well as strong technical advantages to facilitate rapid matching of records with low latency.
In this seminar, we will demonstrate the principles and features of the GID and how it is set up in the most efficient way in order to minimise future administration and maximise efficiencies.
The seminar will also detail forthcoming GID features such as https for WAN deployment, an open API enabling cross-tool collaboration and the option of single, dynamic hashset or database accessible to all forensic tools.
- Presenter: Ben Findlay — lecturer in digital forensics at Teesside University (formerly with the North Yorkshire Police).
- Location: The new National Horizons Centre at Teesside University, Darlington
- Date: November 27th
The seminar is free of charge. It is however only aimed at investigators who act in an administrative role.
