Article published in Police Professional Technology Feature, January 2020

AI has been described as bringing a huge opportunity to “empower officers”, with the ability to “drive vital intelligence and utilise the vast stores of data that the police and other agencies hold to tackle criminality”. Recent research also found that AI and data sharing technologies are the most important of emerging technologies when investigating child sexual abuse (CSA) crimes.

In this article published in Police Professional, it is discussed why artificial intelligence is important now more than ever in law enforcement case management and how it is supporting police officers in the fight against child sexual abuse crime.
